What you can expect from us
- Prompt, professional replies to your phone calls and email messages.
- A phone consultation with Dave prior to your event, or if here in greater Atlanta, Dave is happy to meet with you personally.
- A link to a customized online flyer giving date, time, etc. about your event, along with information about Dave and his topic.
- A quick follow-up communication after the event, to make sure we have met your expectations. (Dave also wants to know how you think he can improve.)
Speaking fees
Before Dave can give you an exact quote for a presentation, he will need to learn more about the goal and scope of your upcoming event, and the specific result you would like him to accomplish with your group. Dave’s fee varies depending on the type of event (corporate meetings – key-note address – breakout session – workshop – etc.), along with where the event is (greater Atlanta – southeast – mid west – east coast, international, etc.) Dave also try’s to be flexible with his fee based on the budget for your event. Local community events are generally less, with fees determined based on calendar availability. Travel and hotel expenses are additional and are typically invoiced separately. Creative and flexible
In light of today’s difficult economy, clients will often offer creative financial arrangements to minimize their expenses, or to recoup the fees they intend to pay a speaker for an event. For example, some clients offer to secure additional events for Dave so that he address several audiences during a single trip. In exchange, Dave will gladly reduce his fee or pay a “commission” as compensation for the other bookings. In other cases, if a certain quantity of his books are pre-sold, then he is more than happy to adjust the fee. In addition, some organizers of big events being held in vacation destination locations, offer lodging for Dave and his wife as part of an overall package. Above all, we want an arrangement that allows you to reach your goals and feel great about the entire experience. Dave will be as flexible as possible in making this happen in a way that works well for you.
Churches and non-profits
Dave really enjoys speaking to church audiences, ministries and other non-profits, and offers a greatly reduced rate for such events. This is also a positive way to “piggy-back” on top of a corporate booking!
